 We are excited to announce that Natyalaya's Annual Recital for 2018 will be held on Sunday, March 18th 2018 at Westfield High School, 18250 N Union St, Westfield, IN 46074 at 2:00 PM. All are welcome. Admission is Free!

The mission of Natyalaya School of Arts is to instill a sound understanding and enjoyment for rich and

eloquent art of  Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam and Carnatic music in our students, while maintaining its purity,

elegance and traditional roots.

Natyalaya School of Arts was founded by Vrinda Sunil in 2006 at Carmel, Indiana. Vrinda teaches Bharathanatyam and Mohiniyattom. Vrinda has a Bachelors Degree in Music from RLV College of Fine Arts in South Kerala, India. She has learned Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam from her early childhood from the age of 4 and has learned both for more than 14 years.

Vrinda’s Bharatanatyam guru was Smt. Kalamandalam Kala Vijayan. Her Mohiniyattom Guru was one of the founders of Mohiniyattom, Late Smt. Kalamandalam Kalyani Kutty Amma and her granddaughters Smt. Smitha Rajan and Smt. Sandhya Rajan. She learned folk dances from Smt. Leelamani and Prof. Gopinadhan Nair. Prof. Gopinadhan Nair is a professional dance drama artist and choreographer. Vrinda did dance dramas at several stages during these times.
